CrossFit Kids Latrobe is a strength and conditioning program for children in elementary through high school (grades 6-12). Workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver fitness that is able to be modified for any participant at any level and age.
Functional movements are fundamental to things kids need to do when they play – pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift and jump.
Kids at CrossFit Latrobe will increase their abilities in 10 areas – endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
CrossFit Kids Latrobe can benefit a child who is less active or an accomplished athlete by tailoring workouts so that each participant is challenged at a level that matches their fitness level.
Quality of movement is prioritized over weight and intensity. The focus is on how well the children move, not how much or how fast.
No two workouts are the same, so children never get bored, and the novelty of each workout keeps them excited about participating.
